ACCESSIBILITY

Incorporating accessibility from design inception is the best way to meet compliance requirements and provide better building functionality for all users.

BRACING CALCULATIONS

Meeting the bracing and performance requirements in either existing or more complex buildings can be difficult. Getting it right economically is the art of a good bracing solution.

CERTIFICATES OF ACCEPTANCE

Council will require an application for a Certificate of Acceptance to legalise work that has been undertaken without a building consent. For existing structures this can be quite complex. I work with Council to obtain the appropriate approvals.

CONSENTS & COMPLIANCE

Understanding and planning for consents and compliance with all codes and regulations at the commencement of a project can save a lot of time and cost at the end. I understand the range of issues likely to be encountered.

DESIGN LICENCE ASSESSMENTS

EXPERT BUILDING ADVICE

All projects can encounter difficult issues at some stage. I have the skills, expertise and experience to provide independent and expert advice on building and contract issues.

FEASIBILITY STUDIES

A detailed and thorough understanding of the options, constraints and potential for any development is critical to success.

FIRE REPORTS

Fire Code requirements can be quite onerous or they can be used to advantage. I have experience in preparing fire reports for all building types using the "Acceptable Solutions", or working with a Fire Engineer for specific engineering requirements.
